The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Sikkim resumed after six years as Sikkim Governor OP Mathur flagged off 33 pilgrims from Nathu La. The group crossed into Tibet after acclimatisation. The yatra, jointly coordinated by Indian agencies, marks a revival of ancient spiritual routes and strengthens international ties.
