TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee on Monday resigned as the party's Lok Sabha Chief Whip, citing West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's comment during a virtual meeting about a lack of coordination among party MPs. He also criticised TMC MP Mahua Moitra for her "pig" remark, calling it "dehumanising language". "You don't wrestle with a pig," Moitra had said during a podcast.
