A disturbing incident of mob violence unfolded near Lakhahi village in UP's Lakhimpur Kheri, wherein a Muslim man and four others were assaulted by kanwariyas after their car's side mirror accidentally brushed against a devotee. The incident took place on August 4 amid heavy kanwar traffic on the Nighasan-Dakherwa State Highway, leaving five people injured, including the car driver.
