Captain Anuj Nayyar's mother, Meena Nayyar, has donated his personal belongings from the 1999 Kargil War to the Indian Army after 26 years. These items, now displayed at the Kargil War Museum, honour his bravery. Nayyar, who led a daring assault during the war and was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra, died fighting at Pimple II.
