The Karnataka government has announced compensation for dog bite incidents. Families of those who die due to dog bites will receive ₹5 lakh. For minor injuries like skin punctures, deep bruises, or multiple bites by stray dogs, ₹5,000 will be provided- ₹3,500 to the victim and ₹1,500 to Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust for treatment costs.
