The Karnataka government blamed RCB for the stampede outside Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru that killed 11. In its report, the state government said RCB invited people for victory parade "unilaterally" and "without consultation" from police. The report also mentioned RCB sharing Virat Kohli's video wherein he said they wanted to celebrate victory with RCB fans in the city.
