Karnataka government has launched Local Economy Accelerator Program (LEAP). It is a ₹1,000 crore initiative aims at transforming the state’s innovation landscape beyond Bengaluru. State Minister Priyank Kharge said, "LEAP will nurture over 5 lakh jobs by supporting startups through a full lifecycle approach with funds, incubators, accelerators, Centres of Excellence and Global Technology Centres."
