IAS officer and BESCOM MD Mahantesh Bilagi, along with two relatives, died in a car accident near Jewargi, Kalaburagi, while travelling to attend a wedding. The Innova car overturned, leaving one passenger critically injured. Authorities, including local officials and the fire brigade, launched a rescue operation and are investigating the tragic incident that has shocked the Karnataka community.
