Pakistan has said that the revered Sikh shrine, Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, has been fully restored and is once again operational following severe flooding in the region. Pakistan’s Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), which manages the shrine, said that the water was pumped out of the complex, mud and silt were cleared, and the entire complex was sanitised.
