After a stampede at TVK chief Vijay's rally in Tamil Nadu's Karur claimed at least 39 lives, police have booked Muthiyazhagan, Karur district secretary of TVK, for alleged violation of norms during the campaign event. The investigation into the incident, in which 95 people are currently hospitalised, is continuing. CM Stalin has announced ₹10 lakh aid to families of deceased.
