Uttar Pradesh's Kashi Vishwanath Temple is set to enforce a complete ban on plastic from August 10, including plastic pots and baskets. The CEO of the temple trust, Vishwa Bhushan Mishra, explained that campaigns are being run to spread awareness among people about the development and that shopkeepers around the temple complex will also be informed through pamphlets.
