Kashmir Police on Thursday issued an advisory for pilgrims undertaking the Amarnath Yatra 2025, urging them to "travel only in designated convoys originating from Bhagwati Nagar, Batal, and Nunwan base camps". The police also advised, "Yatris arriving long before the scheduled date are advised to arrive reasonably prior to their day of yatra." The Amarnath Yatra began today (July 3).
