K Kavitha resigned from the post of MLC and quit BRS a day after her father KCR suspended her from party for "anti-party activities". This came after Kavitha blamed her cousins-ex-minister T Harish Rao and ex-MP Joginipally Santosh Kumar- for corruption allegations against KCR. She said her brother Rama Rao didn't back her "when malicious campaign was unleashed" against her.
