Due to the landslide near Sonprayag at Munkatiya, which is en route to the Kedarnath Temple, pilgrimage has been temporarily suspended. The landslide occurred due to rain, which has completely blocked the road. With debris and stones blocking the way, the administration has stopped the yatra temporarily in Uttarakhand. Pilgrims returning from Gaurikund were trapped in the sliding zones.
