Following blast near Red Fort, Delhi LG VK Saxena directed police to maintain digital records of entities purchasing and selling ammonium nitrate beyond a certain limit. The LG directed that these records should include photographs of buyers and sellers. Ammonium Nitrate is a white crystalline chemical commonly used as fertiliser. When mixed with fuel oil it can cause powerful explosion.
