A new petition has alleged that the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) used its own funds to finance the Global Ayyappa Sangamam, contrary to earlier claims of private sponsorships. The Kerala BJP protested outside CM Pinarayi Vijayan's residence, demanding his resignation over the Sabarimala gold-plating controversy. A SIT is investigating, and the Devaswom Vigilance report is due October 10.
