Sangeeth and Kavya, a Kerala couple who were called "stupid" for leaving city life, invested 60% of their savings to build a sustainable homestead on ancestral land after quitting their jobs. They produce nearly all food on their farm. Their bio-gas plant, fed by cow dung and kitchen waste, powers all cooking, removing need for LPG cylinders.
