The Ernakulam Rural police have formed a 12-member SIT to investigate CPI(M) leader KJ Shine's complaint about a coordinated cyber attack. Headed by Munambam DySP S Jayakrishnan, the team will work with the Rural Cyber Police under his direct supervision. Shine, the 2024 Ernakulam Lok Sabha candidate, alleged defamatory content spread on social media and media platforms.
