Kerala Animal Husbandry Minister J Chinchu Rani announced that milk prices will soon be revised, as cheaper surplus milk from neighbouring states threatens Kerala's dairy market. MILMA has been granted authority by the High Court to implement price hikes. Kerala already pays the highest procurement price in India at ₹43.17 per litre, compared to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
