Kerala Tourism Minister Mohammed Riyas issued a clarification after an RTI revealed that YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested for spying for Pakistan, had visited Kerala under a state-funded influencer campaign to promote tourism. "Jyoti was invited by the designated agency well before any case against her surfaced," he said. "Kerala government had no role in selecting influencers," he added.
