The Kerala High Court questioned Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for withholding certification for Suresh Gopi's film 'JSK: Janaki vs State of Kerala'. A judge said, "Why should somebody change the name of a character? Janaki is a common name used everywhere. What religious purpose?" He further added, "We have film named 'Ram Lakhan'. Nobody has any complaint."
