Kerala Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil was booked by police on charges of sexually abusing a woman and forcing her to undergo miscarriage without her consent. This comes after the woman met CM Pinarayi Vijayan and complained against the MLA. Recently a TV channel telecast audio clips allegedly of Mamkootahil where he was heard threatening the woman to undergo miscarriage.
