Two teachers at a private school in Kerala's Thrissur were suspended for allegedly urging Muslim students to avoid Onam celebrations. Teacher Khadija, in a WhatsApp voice message to students, reportedly said, "We Muslims should live by adhering to Islam. Onam celebrations are polytheistic and shouldn't be encouraged." The management stated that her views were personal and not the school's stance.
