The Kerala State Waqf Board has issued notices to four Muslim and one Hindu family in Wayanad claiming they encroached on land adjacent to a mosque, The Hindu reported. The board asked the landowners, all of whom have been reportedly paying taxes, to attend an online hearing on November 19. The families have approached Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan.
