Indian High Commissioner to Canada Sanjay Kumar Verma alleged some "Khalistani extremists are deep assets of CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service)". He said, "Khalistani extremists are being encouraged (by Canada) all the time. This is my allegation. I'm not giving any evidence," said Verma. He was recalled by India after Canada linked him to Khalistani separatist Hardeep Nijjar's killing.
