Anju Manaduli, head teacher of Government Primary School, Banjarawala in Uttarakhand was suspended after a video showed students carrying sand and soil on heads, while others use spades and shovels to pile it into pans. The suspension letter stated that "students were being made to perform manual labour". An enquiry has been ordered in connection with the matter.
