A new study recorded 34 rare cases of wild killer whales (orcas) bringing food and other items for humans. The orcas were spotted doing so across four oceans, with few approaching people on boats and even on shores with 'gifts' like fish, mammals and even seaweeds. Researchers say this may represent interspecies altruism, selfless actions intended to help another being.
