North Korean leader Kim Jong Un promised "a beautiful life" for families of "martyrs" who died fighting for Russia in war against Ukraine. Kim hosted families of soldiers and expressed "grief at having failed to save the precious lives" of the fallen men. "I think they must've entrusted their families to me," he was quoted saying by KCNA news agency.
