North Korean leader Kim Jong-un extended his wishes to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the latter's 73rd birthday. Kim lauded Putin's "wise leadership" and "patriotic devotion" and said "Pyongyang and Moscow will always stand together and our friendship will be immortal." Last year, Russia and North Korea signed a landmark treaty, which includes a mutual defence clause.
