Kinnar Jagatguru Hemangi Sakhi was attacked by a group of men in UP's Prayagraj, multiple reports said. The attackers vandalised Sakhi's camp and attempted to take the storyteller hostage, after which police arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control, Free Press Journal reported. Notably, Sakhi had objected to former actress Mamta Kulkarni's appointment in Kinnar Akhara.
