Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju travelled to landslide-ravaged Mirik in West Bengal's Darjeeling district on Tuesday to evaluate extent of damage and review ongoing relief and rescue operations following recent torrential rains. Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, he said, "Providing immediate relief is the priority right now."
