BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari alleged that the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has been illegally distributing birth certificates to "suspicious individuals" who're at risk of being removed from the voter list during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). He called it a "blatant attempt to manipulate" electoral rolls. Adhikari added that he has written to the KMC Municipal Commissioner seeking data.
