Thirty-one-year-old Manojit Mishra, arrested in connection with the recent gang-rape at a law college in Kolkata, allegedly attempted to kill a student in September last year, said a report. He has not been attending college since the incident came to light. In April this year, he reportedly faced arrest for thrashing a cop.
