Kolkata Police’s Cyber Crime Division has busted a dating app racket operating from the city’s Minto Park area and arrested 17 people, including 16 women, aged between 19 and 35. The racket members used to run a fake call centre and lure individuals on the pretext of providing companionship and subsequently cheated them of large sums of money.
