Kondaveedu Fort is the largest hill fort in present-day Andhra Pradesh, about 27 km from Guntur. The scenic fort amid hills is a marvel of military architecture and a testament to the ancient water conservation techniques, as it recharges the groundwater of nearby areas even today. Its wells and three tanks also provide water to locals and livestock.
