A KSRTC driver in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta failed a breathalyser test after consuming honey jackfruit. The meter shot from zero to 10 - well above the legal alcohol limit. After the driver denied having alcohol, officials tested the breathalyser with a staffer who scored a 'drunk' reading after consuming jackfruit. Reportedly, having a ripe or overripe jackfruit can trick a breathalyser.
