L&T launches the first pair of U-girders for the construction of Line 2 of the metro project. This line stretches 15.09 km, connecting Agra Cantonment to Kalindi Vihar, and includes 14 elevated stations along its route. The U-girder, measuring 27.90 meters in length and weighing 155 metric tonnes, was launched between piers P/18 and P/19 in the Agra Cantonment area.
