Two days after 46-year-old labourer Yadhmma Balappa fell to his death from the 13th floor of a Chembur building while plastering, police filed an FIR against contractor Ashok Rangani and supervisor Dilipkumar Jaiswal for negligence. Around 150 workers protested for FIR and compensation, while labour groups accused police of protecting the developer.
