A tribal labourer found a diamond estimated to be worth ₹40 lakh at a mine in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district. Labourer Madhav was working at a shallow mine in Krishna Kalyanpur Patti when he unearthed the 11.95-carat precious stone. The diamond will be auctioned, and the proceeds, after deducting a 12.5% royalty, will go to the labourer, an official said.
