Amandeep Kaur, the daughter of a labourer and a domestic worker, has once again proven that determination and hard work can defy all odds. At the 64th National Open Athletics Championship held at Birsa Munda Stadium in Ranchi, Amandeep clinched a bronze medal in the 800-metre race. She also secured a silver medal in the 4x400 metre team relay.
