Heavy rains caused landslides, waterlogging and rise in water levels of dams in parts of Kerala. While in Wayanad, landslides occurred at Thamarassery Pass, the water levels in dams across Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, and Wayanad districts reached "third stage of alert". Meanwhile, IMD has issued orange alert for Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod districts.
