Actress Lara Dutta's father, retired Wing Commander L.K. Dutta, passed away on May 31, 2025 just days after celebrating his 84th birthday on May 13. It was the same day marking the 25th anniversary of Lara's Miss Universe win. The funeral took place today at Santacruz Hindu Crematorium, Mumbai, where an emotional Lara was accompanied by husband Mahesh Bhupathi.
