Former CAG official P Sesh Kumar criticised the delay in audit reports, saying many are released years after events, making them "only fault-finding" and ineffective for real-time corrections. He urged the CAG to also highlight good practices and called for better coordination between auditors and the executive to improve timeliness and transparency.
