Monojit Mishra, the prime accused in alleged gang-rape of a student at Kolkata law college, was appointed an ad-hoc faculty member 45 days before the incident, HT reported. "Mishra was recruited...on directions of governing body of college," HT quoted Vice-principal Nayna Chatterji as saying. However, TMC's Ashok Kumar Deb, who is president of governing body, said he didn't recommend Mishra.
