Chief Justice of India BR Gavai pulled up advocate Mathews Nedumpara in Supreme Court after he referred to Allahabad High Court's Justice Yashwant Varma, who's under investigation after cash recovery from his home, as just "Varma". CJI said, "Is Justice Varma your friend? He's still a learned judge of the high court...How are you referring to him as 'Varma'?"
