A lawyer threw a shoe at Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai during Supreme Court hearing on Monday. Security personnel prevented it from hitting CJI. He asked lawyers to continue with arguments, saying, "Don't get distracted...These things don't affect me." The lawyer was upset over CJI's remarks on restoration of Lord Vishnu idol at Khajuraho, which sparked a row.
