The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has reportedly issued legal notices to several unauthorised companies allegedly selling Tirupati Laddus on numerous online platforms. Those issued notice includes some US-based e-commerce site PushMyCart. TTD reportedly said that this practice infringes upon the Geographical Indication (GI) rights, which are granted only to temple's original laddu offering.
