Li Auto has developed its first in-house autonomous driving chip, the M100, which completed prototype production and is now in road testing. Mass production is planned for 2025. The chip reportedly matches or exceeds Nvidia's Thor-U in AI tasks. With Nio and Xpeng also rolling out self-developed chips, China's EV makers are racing to reduce reliance on US suppliers.
