A study by Florida Atlantic University suggested that lifestyle changes such as exercise, healthy eating and social engagement can help slow down or prevent dementia and other forms of cognitive decline. Researchers said physical activity improves blood flow and reduces inflammation. Lifestyle risk factors like obesity, alcohol use, diabetes are considered as factors of cognitive decline.
