Baccha Pandey, a private lineman of electricity department, was tied to pole and held hostage by local residents when he started disconnecting illegal electricity connections in UP's Jaunpur, according to Free Press Journal. In a video, Pandey was seen telling locals that he was assigned work by seniors. Electricity department officials rushed to the spot and managed to free Pandey.
